Three people have been killed in a school shooting in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Additionally, six others have been injured.
According to a report by British news outlet BBC on Monday (December 16), the incident occurred at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison this afternoon. The casualties happened as a result of indiscriminate firing.
The city’s Police Chief, Sean Burns, said that the shooter is believed to be among the deceased. Police arrived at the scene immediately after the attack and blocked off roads around the school.
In a statement, Madison Police said that the investigation is ongoing, and any new information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
