BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at a London clinic in the UK, has sought prayers from countrymen for her recovery.

He sought these prayers from countrymen on Friday (January 17) evening London time.

On the evening of this day, local time, the BNP acting chairman went to see his mother along with his wife at The London Clinic, a specialized hospital in central London, like any other day. At that time, in response to questions from journalists waiting at the entrance of the hospital, he did not make any other comments other than seeking prayers for his mother. He said, “I will tell this to the countrymen, I seek prayers for her as a child.”

Shamsuddin Didar, an official of the BNP Chairperson’s press wing, gave this information.

Meanwhile, on Friday, at the initiative of the UK BNP, prayer mahfils were held in mosques in various cities after Friday prayers to pray for Khaleda Zia’s recovery.

Speaking to this correspondent on Friday afternoon, UK BNP President MA Malek said that the doctors will decide on the next course of treatment after receiving all the reports of Madam’s health tests.

After Jumma on Friday, the area around The London Clinic in Central London was bustling with BNP leaders and activists.

Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment at this hospital under Professor John Patrick Kennedy. Leaders and activists gathered there even before she arrived at the hospital to attract Tariq Rahman’s attention.
