Chittagong, 24 July 2026 (Friday): Maulana Habib Ullah (RA) Foundation has distributed corrugated iron as a house construction material for the rehabilitation of helpless families affected by the terrible floods in Banshkhali Upazila of Chittagong.
The distribution program was held at 3 pm on Friday (24 July 2026) at the premises of Saral Anwarul Ulum Madrasa located in Ward No. 1 of Saral Union of Banshkhali Upazila.
In the first phase, 1 box of corrugated iron was distributed to each of the 25 families affected by the flood. The foundation authorities said that this is the first phase of their relief and rehabilitation program. The foundation will take more initiatives in the future to stand by the affected families and continue to provide rehabilitation assistance.
The program was presided over by Maulana Mahmud Ullah, the chief advisor of the foundation and the eldest son of the late Alem Deen Maulana Habib Ullah (RA). The program was hosted by Farhad Amin Faisal.
Mufti Maulana Nasimur Rahman, the youngest son of the renowned scholar Allama Khairuddin (RA), Maulana Abdul Majed (Director, Saral Ansarul Ulum Madrasa), Maulana Abdul Malek (Executive Director, Saral Anwarul Ulum Madrasa), Maulana Ahmed Syed, Maulana Hafez Ahmed, Maulana Rafiq ul Islam, Maulana Rashedul Alam Noman, Master Jamal Uddin, Doctor Yusuf and other prominent figures of the area were present at the program.
Also present were Maulana Faridul Alam, Maulana Shawkat Amin Belal, Maulana Sohail Mahmud, Farhad Amin Faisal, Towaha Amin, Shoaib Mahmud, Ahmadur Rahman, Mubarak Ullah and many others, successors and members of the foundation of the late Maulana Habibul Karim Helal, Maulana Saifullah, Hafez Obaidullah and many others.

The speakers said that the late Maulana Habibul Ullah (RA) was a prominent religious scholar of the country. His contribution to Islamic education, religious dawah and social welfare activities is still remembered with respect. Maulana Habib Ullah (RA) Foundation, established by his children and grandchildren with the aim of preserving the continuity of his ideals and human service, has been conducting various humanitarian and welfare activities. The speakers expressed their hope that such public welfare activities will be conducted on a wider scale in the future.
In the chairman’s speech, Maulana Mahmud Ullah, the chief advisor of the foundation, sought prayers from everyone and said, may Allah Almighty grant this foundation the ability to work for the welfare of society and humanity for a long time. He called on the wealthy and people from all walks of life to cooperate with the foundation’s humanitarian initiatives.
At the end of the program, a special prayer was held under the leadership of Maulana Abdul Majed Hafizullah, seeking the welfare of the flood-affected families, the country and the nation. The program was declared over with the prayer.
